# Activation Rewards

In the Techno Satoyama, there are no free tokens. Everything is earned through work.

The Activation Rewards program is the first work stream for Guardian Node License holders. It exists because purchasing a license is not where the contribution ends. It is where it begins.

#### **What is The Work?**

Acquiring a Guardian Node License. Setting up a wallet. Navigating the system. Preparing to operate. These are the first acts of participation in the Mawari Network. They are the foundation upon which everything else is built.

In the Techno Satoyama, this is cultivation. Before a single node goes live, the people who hold licenses are already contributing. They are learning the terrain, preparing the soil, and getting ready for the seasons ahead. This preparation is work. And the ecosystem recognizes it.

**This is not an airdrop.** Tokens are not scattered to generate attention. They are not handed to exchanges or passive followers. Activation Rewards go to the people who are doing the work of preparing to run the network.

The money that most projects spend on exchange listing fees, we are spending on those joining our community early.\
\
Activation Rewards are not the network's primary rewards. They are a one-time recognition program, exclusively for Guardian Node License holders from DIO Season 1. Gratitude to the supporters who showed up first.

The lasting rewards of the Mawari Network come from operating nodes and locking tokens. Node Operation Rewards. Locking Rewards. Ongoing. The foundation. Activation Rewards sit alongside them. Not in place of them.

#### **How it Works.**

Activation Rewards are based on the number of Guardian Node Licenses held per wallet. The more licenses you hold, the higher the reward per license.

#### How Rewards are Earned.

Activation Rewards begin after mainnet launch. They are earned monthly over 12 months in equal amounts. Each earning period begins on the first of each month.

The total earned is determined by the number of licenses held and the work performed, provided all program rules and eligibility requirements are met.<br>

#### The Commitment.

Earning is not passive. To unlock the next month's Activation Rewards, participants must lock a minimum of 70% of all earned rewards. This includes Activation Rewards, node operation rewards, and locking rewards.

This is a deliberate requirement. Every month, participants make an active decision to recommit to the long-term health of the network. It is the digital equivalent of replanting after every harvest. You take what you need. The rest goes back into the soil.

This is how the Techno Satoyama protects itself in its earliest and most fragile stage. The people who earn are the same people who strengthen the foundation. And by building this discipline from month one, the ecosystem trains its participants to think long-term from the very beginning. The strongest ecosystems, and strongest networks in this space were built by communities who understood this instinct early.

#### Why This Structure.

Twelve months of earning, not a single drop. A 70% lock requirement, not a free pass. Because the Techno Satoyama is built on consistent work and consistent commitment, season after season. You earn over time. You recommit over time. The structure reflects the principle.

Every project talks about putting the community first. We are directing funds that many spend on listing fees to committed supporters.

Details are reflected in the Mawari documentation.
