Guardian Nodes serve as the validators and auditors of the network, playing a crucial role in maintaining operational transparency and trust across the Mawari ecosystem. These nodes are CPU-based and are responsible for verifying the quality of the streaming tasks completed by Spatial Streamer Nodes. They ensure the accuracy of rendering and delivery by comparing results against expected benchmarks.
In addition to validating jobs, Guardian Nodes continuously monitor the health of the network by analyzing metrics such as latency, bandwidth, packet loss, jitter, and 3D/video quality. This ongoing assessment helps identify areas where the network needs optimization and ensures that only reliable nodes are rewarded for their performance. The data collected by Guardian Nodes contributes to a verifiable ledger of network activity, increasing transparency for all the participants.
Spatial Streamer Nodes are the workhorses of the Mawari Network, responsible for performing the compute-intensive tasks of rendering and streaming immersive 3D content. These GPU-powered nodes receive job assignments from the Mawari orchestration layer and execute them with precision, adapting to the real-time network and user conditions.
These nodes must respond dynamically to fluctuations in bandwidth, latency, and user movement to maintain a smooth XR experience. To do so, Spatial Streamer Nodes employ adaptive bitrate streaming and real-time telemetry reporting to adjust the rendering pipeline as needed. The distribution of these nodes is strategically planned to meet the latency-sensitive demands of XR applications, often deployed through partnerships with telcos, edge providers, and data centers.
As the network expands, more GPU capacity is onboarded through regional partnerships, ensuring global coverage and responsiveness. This setup allows developers and brands to deploy high-fidelity 3D content without investing in or maintaining expensive hardware infrastructure.
Quality of Service (QoS) Nodes focus on the macro-level monitoring and performance validation of the Mawari Network. Operating on CPU-based systems, these nodes are tasked with running specialized monitoring jobs that ensure network-wide service reliability, particularly around latency thresholds, geographic availability, and node responsiveness.
Initially limited in number, QoS Nodes are operated by vetted institutional partners under an allocation period. This ensures a high level of consistency and trust during the early stages of network growth. By centralizing QoS evaluations in a limited set of highly reliable nodes, the network ensures that baseline performance standards are upheld even during periods of rapid growth and diversification.
Pulse Nodes represent a community-driven initiative to crowdsource the real-time testing and optimization of the Mawari Network. These app-based nodes run on user devices, generating critical telemetry data such as latency, packet loss, jitter, bandwidth, and visual performance indicators like frames per second (FPS) and video bitrate.
